Week 63: AUTUMN

It's official.  Summer has given way to autumn!  Leaves are beginning to fall and subtle signs of the new season are beginning to pop up in the landscape!  For some reason, comfort food cravings are increasing too!  Let's see what autumn brings to mind for you!

This week, we have another wonderful new sponsor joining us!

Established in 1989, DeNami Design has been known for a timeless style featuring simply elegant art. From our extensive line of quality cling and wood mounted rubber stamps, we specialize in stylish and sophisticated products. These delightful designs are easy to mix and match for a designer look on all your paper arts.
In addition to providing a wide range of products, we also have an extensive collection of project ideas. We strive to continually provide you with new inspiration both on our website and our blog. We hope you'll check them out!

This week's winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to their online store!

First, let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer thought of when they considered this week's cue word!

Guest Designer:  LeAnne
 design defined:
The "rule of three" is always a good one to follow; in this case, the circular focal point, the vertical twine and the horizontal sentiment create an eye-pleasing grouping.

Judy
 design defined:
You can bend your stamps to make a CAS scene more interesting.

design defined:
Inking or "distressing" corners and card edges can add interest and color on a CAS card.

Maureen
design defined:
Add dimension to your images by inking them in one shade and rolling them in a darker shade.  (Rock & Roll Technique)

Meghan
design defined:
Nestling a sentiment within your image is a fun way to finish off a clean and simple card.

Melissa
 design defined:
Use a small pop of color to add interest to a monochromatic card.

Rosemary
design defined:
A small pop of color is perfect for a CAS design.

Tracey
design defined:
A dry embossed background adds interest without bulk.

Ardyth
design defined:
Lots of white space allows you to have a small area of busy interest on a CAS card!

Gillian
design defined:
Ink and sponging can create great depth to an otherwise CAS card.

Jen
design defined:
Remember to stamp before you dry emboss!

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your AUTUMN creations by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!
