Week 81: And

Tom and Jerry.  Salt and Pepper.  Peanut Butter and Jelly.  Hugs and Kisses.  Some things just go together!  Thank goodness for our little cue word this week!  What is it going to bring to mind for you?

Before we see what the design team and our guest designer created, we need to mention we have one of our wonderful sponsors returning!

http://www.stamplorations.com/

Be sure and visit their store and take a look at all they have to offer because this week's prize is the winner's choice of a stamp set (if the winner is a resident of the US, Canada, Finland, UK, Australia, or EU countries) OR a digital paper pack of the winner's choice (for all others)!

Now let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer have created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Lorraine

A minimal color scheme and a few embellishments keeps your design CAS.

Jen

Adding one pop of colour to a black and white design adds interest, but keep things CAS.

Use patterned papers sparingly to add color but keep the card CAS.

 Judy

Layering stamps on a one-layer card can add dimension and interest.

Kimberly

Sponging or using daubers with stencils can add high interest without bulk.

Maureen

design defined:
Patterned paper is a fun addition to CAS cards, just use small doses and balance it out with a solid pieces and white space.

May
design defined:
Don't be afraid to use multiple colors and images on a CAS card.

Meghan
design defined:
Transparencies can add interest to a clean and simple card without adding thick layers!

design defined:
Pops of color add subtle interest without taking over the design.

Tracey
design defined:
Adding a bit of colour to a black and white design can liven it up.

CAS can be bold!
